👀 OVERVIEW

While I was still in university, I freelanced with
a student startup to design a social good
investment platform from the ground up.

Co-founded by a student from our business school, Empactful was still only a well-defined idea with nothing but pre-seed funding when I joined--nothing built or designed. With limited resources and a looming launch date, I spent several weeks defining a simplistic brand identity, turning the basic user flowchart into an MVP design for web to be handed off to the contracted eng team, and designing a branded VC pitch deck for seed funding.

This was my first freelancing gig, & I learned a lot about balancing client’s wants and needs on top of user’s best interests in my design work!

As part of its social good mission, the platform promotes donating profits from investments to charities, and donation history is collected in one convenient place for tax season
